HABIT tour at Falling Walls.

The prestigious international platform for science Engagement Falling Walls has invited GAS to the Falling Walls Engage Community Meeting in Halle, (Saale) next June 21st. GAS will introduce the main features of the HABIT tour as an example of innovative space outreach initiative to inspire and engage different kind of audiences with the Mars exploration topic.

Falling Walls is a professional forum for all forms of science engagement. Its main goal is to showcase successful science engagement projects from a wide range of fields. It covers from public science to pub science, from kindergarten education to VR experiences, and from citizen science to journalism. Falling Walls connects those who tear down the walls between science and the public.

Falling Walls Engage Community Meeting will count with the participation of 35 science communication professionals from all over the world to share some key points about their own science communications strategies and initiatives. GAS will represent Sweden in the meeting with the HABIT tour experience introducing some of the main challenges faced and some of the main solutions implemented and learnings acquired during the eight months of Tour.

The SILBERSALZ FESTIVAL will run simultaneously to the Falling Walls Engage Community Meeting, from 20th to 23rd of June. This Science Festival tries to provide the general public with access to scientific topics and to allow them to ask questions, thereby promoting a lively and active engagement with science in general. This year the topic of the Festival will be the science of love.
